I wanted to let our 3 fans [hi Slideshow, we love you!] know we're playing a show with Trephine [trephinemd.com] on Sunday September 18th at Modified. We haven't played for about 2 years because we can't really be bothered. I think it was 2 years, but maybe it was 1 year, I don't remember.

Trephine , based on the 30 seconds I've heard, sounds kind of like Don Cabellero played by guys who love metal. Maybe that's what Don Caballero sounds like too, I don't really know. I do know that my brother skated with Steve Caballero at the old tennis courts over by Town & Country one time. He said he was really cool & nice.

Anyway, if you haven't heard us, we've been in other bands you haven't heard of, like An Magma Drowning [with AJ & Paul from Sea of Cortez], Early Outward, Deconstruct, Omosc, Andale Mono [who never played out, so of course you never heard of them], Full Moon on a Half Day, Van Buren Wheels, Flying Monkey Bats, & The Chrome Hearts. You might like us if you like bands like Christian Death, Mogwai, &/or Velvet Underground, which makes no sense until you hear us. If you liked Death of Marat or ...guppies, you'd probably like us. Or perhaps I'm flattering myself. There's no screaming involved, I can tell you that, so if you're under 24 years old you can come see what it's like to see a band play without any screaming for the first time in your life. Not much singing either, come to think of it. But you will need earplugs. If nothing else, you should come to see my awesome metal guitar. Not like Megadeath metal, but actually made out of metal. That's worth five bucks, right there.

Thanks Aaron for letting me know about the shnizzle. Keep it real.

I think we did play with Clementine once. I know we played at my old studio on Grand with Other Voices + The One A.M. Radio, we played at Modified wih Canyon [if that's the name of Kimber's band]. Since then we've mostly been warming up the crowd for the Queens of Comedy tour. Even though we're the 3 whitest people alive, the hip-hop crowd loves our urban edginess + our fresh street style. Come see our eclectic mix of old-school rock, smooth, funky jazz, + unconventional song structure layered over the latest IDM-electro-clash beats.

That's right, Scenic. Sorry, I'm retarded. I can't remember the name of anyone or anything. I've been trying to remember the name of a beer for like 2 weeks now, but I can't think of it. How's the Expy? Mine's treating me right, as ever.
