Kinda like the British version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? - way more funny. Yeah, some of the actors are even the same, but Drew Carey sux the big one compared to the Brit guy.

Maybe Brits are just funnier than Americans.

the BBC version is definitely better in my opinion, though the NBC version's surprisingly pretty good...

I honestly believe this to be true.

Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, Little Britain, Young Ones....

Far better than the average American sitcom.

I am extremely picky when it comes to comedy, and staples of laughter such as The Big Lebowski and other movies just don't strike me as amusing in the slightest (yeah yeah, no need to hate,, I get enough of that from Colin), but a lot of British comedy shows knock me down laughing....although I don't really enjoy Eddie Izzard from what little I've heard (Definite Article)

You know, I totally loved the Young Ones when I was in high school, but I watched a few of the episodes that I taped back then, and honestly, just didn't think it was as good as I remembered it being. I mean, I still thought Rik was awesomely hilarious, and I really like the ep with the University Challenge, but overall I just didn't dig it as much as I did when I was 17 or whatever. Some awesome lines though, like the fly on the wall line. "its really overrated"

but i DO love monty python.

Krispi, (I mean Glitterbot!), have you seen Fawlty Towers??

If you like Monty Python (or John Cleese specifically)
you'd LOVE it! It's unfortunate it was cancelled so early,
it's hilarious.

as sitcoms go, the NBC version of The Office is fantastic. i mean, did you watch Joey afterwards?

i think that particular show would have been a lot better had they just called it 'friend'. i don't mean that as a joke.

My friend rented a bunch of the episodes from Blockbuster a few years back.

I loved when they changed the spelling on the outside of the place - "Farty Towels" and "Flowery Twats". Friggin hilarious.
