This was really hard for me this year. I haven't listened to everything
I've wanted to hear , since I'm no longer working in a record store.
I'm sure I missed a few!

(in no particular order)

Luke Haines - Luke Haines is Dead
Lightning Bolt - Hypermagic Mountain
Of Montreal - Sunlandic Twins
M. Ward - Transistor Radio
Minibosses - Brass
Robyn Hitchcock - Obliteration Pie
The Go-Betweens - Oceans Apart
Explosions in the Sky - How Strange, Innocence
Sleeping People - S/T
Supergrass - Road to Rouen

I'm woefully unaware of tons of new music so I'll say I really liked these new releases:

Gorillaz - Demon Days
Of Montreal - Sunlandic Twins
The Hold Steady - Separation Sunday
Brazilian Girls - (same title)

Best Music DVD - Bob Dylan - No Direction Home
------------------
old releases I heard this year that were great:
Songs Ohia - Magnolia Electric Company

i don't even know if i bought ten albums that came out this year. hmm...

minibosses - brass
minibosses/penny winblood
riddle of steel - got this feeling
traindodge - under black sails ep
chromelodeon - heart of sawdust
the life and times - suburban hymns
fantomas - suspended animation
i hate you when you're pregnant - the fifth demo
queens of the stone age -lullabies to paralyze

um...shit, i think that's it. maybe i'll think of more.

i bought the new nine inch nails album, but i don't think the three songs i like on it make it worthy of a top ten list. haha
