while the writing itself wasnt all that great, i mostly enjoyed the concept of this article, entitled: "The Top Ten Albums Bound to be on Everyone Else's 2005 List that I Didn't Listen to and What I Think They Might Sound Like".

nada surf (i'm shocked, but it's damn good!), the weight is a gift
antony and the johnsons, i am a bird now
mellowdrone, go get 'em tiger
low, the great destroyer
the strokes (finally gained my total respect!), first impressions of earth

i heard quite a few mediocre/overrated new albums...
i bought and listened to mostly older stuff this past year.

Dude, I give you props. You're the first person I have ever seen to write the Sufjan Stevens CD title correctly...anywhere!!!! YOU RULE!!!!
