did you get me a copy?

let's learn their song and do it better than
them and then we can win a grammy and
then when we're on stage we can thank
them!

i like how they try to position it as independent versus mainstream. it's a convenient way to try to convince people that your music is better because you aren't on a huge label. for all i know, ne-yo could be amazing. i mean, i don't know.

it's bullshit posturing, and i've heard hawthorne heights. it's nothing that deserves my money.

ne-yo looks like a tough guy with a softer feminine side to him, perhaps even having a self-effacing quality

All I know is I've owned way more Def Jam records than Victory records (which tallies up to 0).

good point. i don't own any visctory records releases, but they used to be at least somewhat respectable. i always thought they were a tough guy label. guess i was wrong.

It is funny. I met the guitar player's uncle in Indianna, they named thier band after a fucking sub-division they wanted to live in or some shit. He found out I was in a band and gave me a handfull of thier demos. It is funny, he thought since I lived in phoenix and was travelling for my company I had hook ups in the music industry? :P :D

anyway, I pawned them off on some poor unsuspecting flight attendant after suffering through one of thier songs.

I just laugh everytime I see them anywhere doing anything.

The asthma thing is a total coverup. Some retail
clerk caught him "moving product" and put the
beat down on his ass!
