i appreciate where you are coming from and i understand impatience, but that shit don't work with me. i've got 300 things i juggle daily. stay in touch and drop me a line once in a while. that's about the best i could offer right now.. i listened to your one song on your myspace, it's a little too droney, the lyrics are only slightly interesting, people care, they don't care.. too vague, and there is not enough inflection in the vocals.. even Bob Dylan had that....why is there only one song up?
good luck, and stay in touch.

As long as were being honest...it sounds like you're kind of a bitch. Are you?having a bad day? Is it PMS?? I've got news for ya, you're not the only one whose busy. I've dealt with booking agents like you before that have a bit too much attitude for their own good and I must tell you that they're not around anymore and, guess what, Destinations Unknown still is.
I don't need you to convince me of the fact that you don't have the slightest idea about what you're talking about. Modified is not the epicenter of independent music and for a diva like you to cop an attitude like that is...way out of line. Since when did a stripper like you suddenly become an expert on music. If you want to be a music critic, then go work somewhere else and be a music critic. If you want to promote local music, help struggling musicians and artists expose their music, then you should continue to book shows. But you can't do both because they're not compatible and if you think they are, then you're dead wrong.
I've been around music a helluva lot longer than you have and I know a thing or two about what I'm doing. I don't know who you think you are, but I have no intention of licking your ass to get a gig from you! Not now, not a month from now and not three months from now. It ain't gonna happen. So get off your high horse Leslie, I know where you've been too and I ain't impressed.

and really, does that song need to be 5 minutes long? if so, please and some more chords or something... i mean, neil young can make some good two chord songs, but he at least has coherent, interesting lyrics.

Someone in that email exchange thinks way too highly of themselves, but it certainly isn't you. I mean the dude brags about some random guy thinking he sounds like Bob Dylan. Way to go buddy! One time a deaf retarded kid said I play whiffleball like Stan Musial, but you don't see me putting that on the internet.
What a geek.

After a short-lived foray into the world of independent film, Mr. Jarvis has taken extended periods of time off to travel and explore the world. It is so lame that he thinks you don't like his music or him because there is something wrong with you.
Whatever is making you mentally incapable of enjoying his attitude/music must be working on me too then.
