That's awesome!
One time, a guy in my chem lab asked me what was going to happen on Friends that night.
Befuddled, I asked him to clarify.
Him: "What's gonna happen on Friendstonight - Ross?
Me: "?"
Him: "Because Friends is on tonight ..."
Me: "?"
Him: "... and you kind of sound like Ross."
Me: "?"
Him: "You know, Ross from Friends."
Me: *blink*
So, there you go - if some random guy says something it must be true and meaningful!

Ah, c'mon... Rachel was always sweet to me.They should get a show with XOXOXO.
i've been called a diva before...
aint no thing.
but yeah,
There's a lot of names I'd call you, but diva's not one of them.
I wonder if he would have mentioned PMS or called you a Diva if you were a guy.
I think that's what's the most shocking part of the whole exchange, the blatant misogny.

the best email thread i ever got was from a band from san francisco, and how they felt betrayed by the scene and what was up with flagstaff and they'd played here before and what was up with those guys, etc etc. there should be a zine of these. a book.

I may have told this story here before, but your comment reminds me of when I had an ad out looking for a drummer. I said I was a singer/guitarist forming a punk band.awesome!

A guy called me and he said he was a singer/guitarist. I told him the band already had one of those, ME.
"We could be a duo like Simon and Garfunkel."
I told him no thanks.
"Come on, give it a chance!"
I hung up.

"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak up and remove all doubt."
