I can't speak for anyone else except Destinations Unknown, but it does seem
clear that no serious band or performer is interested in chasing down a
show, either by making repeated telephone calls or by sending numerous
e-mail messages that may not be received or returned. If you want to book a
show, then you shouldn't be wasting a lot of time about it or give people
the run around. This just creates ill-will and bad vibes that none of us
needs.

Destinations Unknown regrets having to announce that the kick-off show scheduled at Hooligan's for Tuesday, January 23rd, 2007, in Prescott, AZ, is being cancelled.

The owner of Hooligan's took exception to some standard safety and security policies that Destinations Unknown provides each venue with when shows are scheduled.

The safety and security guidelines are intended as a precautionary measure to ensure that owners of drinking establishments and live performance venues are fully aware that behaviors such as concealing illegal weapons or knives, fighting, unauthorized video or audio recording of performances are strictly prohibited.

As such, the owner of Hooligan's has refused to allow Destinations Unknown to play the show as was scheduled.

Please stay tuned to the Destinations Unknown blog for any other changes in scheduling that may be announced in the future.
