I'm just trolling.

I got to see the Big Black reunion in Chicago last September.

I was drunk.

I witnessed their debauchery at the Touch & Go festival as well. It was a little dispppointing when they only played three songs.

Man or Astroman was kinda sloppy, and Scratch Acid played, not Jesus Lizard. They kicked ass.

:o What did you do to deserve that?

I saw Shellac play at the Knitting Factory in L.A. a few years ago. I don't know if you've ever seen them live or not, but they have a Q & A session during their shows. So I raise my hand and Albini points to me and I proceed to ask him what in retrospect was an absolutely fucking retarded question. I had been reading a lot of stuff about drummers using click tracks to record with, so I asked if Shellac used a click track during recording. The Knitting Factory has a floor level and a mezzanine level, which is where I was. Albini said," That's it; no more questions from the upper level. Thanks a lot asshole you just ruined it for everyone." And they really refused to take questions from the upper level for the rest of the show. It was actually really funny; although I did feel like a huge douche. In all fairness, it was kind of a douchebag question. So I've got that going for me, which is nice...

That Albini thread was pretty awesome... 'til you music nerds came in and ruined it all for the rest of those card player nerds.
