Where To Get A Decent Breakfast Burrito?

They do good work at La Tolteca on Van Buren, but they upcharge for pretty much anything besides eggs. Add in potatoes, cheese, bacon (or whatever) and we're talking about a $6 or $7 breakfast burro. That's absurd.
Used to know of a few good places over in Tempe where it'd be a more reasonable $3.25 or so for a fully equipped burrito. ANYWAY, just looking for a recommendation before dropping into any random taco shop.

i'd pay 8 bucks for a breakfast burrito if it tastes like pete's kitchen breakfast burritos, but i have not yet found one.
damnit
-trunkspaceAll the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

sorry for the un-answer.
How about Tradiciones at 16th Street and Roosevelt? I've never had a breakfast burrito there but it might be worth looking into.

Oh those tortillas........
ROP was telling me about Two Hippies the other day after I had read a very good local review on the place. Not sure about the prices or if they have breakfast. Sorry to jump in on your nice thread. MMmmmm Carolina's though, good one.

Tradiciones (if you haven't been) is a for-reals restaurant, relatively expensive... I get my parents to take us there or meet us for happy hour sometimes. It's not a cheap late night burrito option. The food court inside the Ranch Market is good and much more reasonably priced, BUT I'm not that into their breakfast burros (they're always donating them by the dozen for various Garfield neighborhood activities).
I will get over to Carolinas, but according to the munu they only do breakfast burros in the morning.

La Canasta on W. Van Buren (13th ave-ish) or the one on 7th Ave just south of that overpass. What about Oaxaca? Don't know if they do breakfast but I had a good lunch there once.

La Canasta has the best red sauce in town - IMO.

a little confused: Canasta at 13th st or ave? W. Van Buren suggests ave... seems like I've seen it when I used to go over towards the willow house mkII.
