I've heard it's quite good, though a bit overpriced. I've been meaning to go there as well.


If Ramen is more than 5 for a dollar, then it's definitely overpriced.

awesome ramen recipe:

one package ramen
half can of corn
one cup dried mashed potatoes
old bay seasoning

add an extra 1/2 to 3/4 cups of water for the potatoes.
add seasoning to the water as it's coming to a boil. (this is a given even if you're enjoying ramen by itself. That way, the noodles soak up the very tasty seasoned water rather than just plain water.)
as the plain ramen is finishing, add potatoes and corn and extra spice*.
It's a 'stew' sort of consistency

*a packet of hot sauce works well in a pinch, too.

its the triple spicer, which is something i conceived of while blasted on 'the spice'

i also started referring to my yelly cat as 'Spice 1'

Another Marylander? You don't here the DELICIOUS name of Old Bay anywhere else really. At least not far from MD. And yes, it's true. You can put Old Bay on damn near anything when you live here.

fresh ramen is WAY better than the cheap processed kind you can buy at the store. The broth alone is heavenly.

Currently working on some Country Style Ribs in the Crock pot

5 tsp. chili powder
2 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
5 tsp. apple cider vinegar
2 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
2 1/2 c. water
about 3 lbs. beef country style ribs


Added all to the Crock Pot, leaving it in there for a few hours. Gonna pull them out, smother in bbq sauce, haven't decided on the grill or broil yet, and enjoy!

Not sure why the jealousy occurred, maybe just the envisioning of my man meat being the pleasure pole for some other lucky lady (yea, I said it, you can quote me on that lol)
