oops, that night knocks me out too. I have a sale scheduled for april 17th and 18th in sun city. ergo, i will be getting up at like 4 am sat morning. saturdays are always better for me...

Any of these days are awesome.

I say DJ all night, unless some of want to put together an all star dance band for a set. You know, songs to slow dance with your sweetie to (if you have a sweetie). Also, caucasian 80's dancing.

Daryl sounded super excited about the idea and is more than happy. Annie (one of the bartenders) usually does an amazing time of getting a table set up with food, as well. That is absolutely something that they could provide. He just needs more details as far as the bands/DJs/etc. goes and whatever night is chosen is it. So, whoever wants to be the ringleader? I'll give you Daryl's cellphone. Or let me know everything in one swoop so that I know what to tell him.

I am partial to the 16th.

The 2nd is right after first fridays and sometimes people don't go out after that friday. Plus i am sure people will be busy doing things for FF that week as well. Also I like the middle of the month; it gives people time to get their schedules together.

I am down with just a DJ too - unless, like Quezo said, we get a "prom" band (composed of shizz band members?)

oh hey, on the dj tip - i'll do it.

i have TONS of awesome 80s prom-type music, and if anyone has requests i can try to find more (i only do vinyl, but that stuff is typically easy to find).

that is good for me. and unless something truly weird comes up, i won't be scheduling any sales for that weekend either. we won't be getting back into town until sunday night the 17th, and that would really cut into our set-up time for a fri/sat sale. long story short, we would be down that weekend.

that would be fine, i think. saturdays are usually ok either way, cause i work fri/sat early morning, but not sunday morning. even if i schedule a sale for that weekend, i could still attend. most times i don't FEEL like going out after a sale, cause i am like the walking dead at that point, but Prom is a very special occasion.
