totally booked a vacation in hawaii for october last night. wooo

stayed up late and tried to catch the meteor shower last night. didn't see a single one. >:-/ but the perseids are in august and on a fri/sat so i think i'm gonna get some folks together and hit up my cabin up north in pine. if anyone would be down, lemme know.

so yeah.. today, packin' up and heading up to the aforementioned cabin for the weekend. time for some r and r. my unmowed grass can wait!

tomorrow is Free Comic Book Day, and its mainly geared towards kids so if you have kids or know any kids and want to encourage them to read and/or get them a grip of free stuff, you should bring em down to one of the fine comic stores in town. i know some people like the Atomic Comics chain, but i always go to independent stores-especially because Atomic limits stuff and other shops give kids more.

dang that sounds awesome. i am kind of disappointed i didn't get to use my binoculars when i was in flagstaff last weekend, but you know, i couldn't really see straight at 3am anyways.

had an interview this morning, rode my bike with mig to get coffee. read some comics. gonna go get lunch with johnMFer i think? read more comics? check out first friday stuff? go to some party mig is DJing at? who knows! FRIDAY~!

that's why we decided.. pretty last minute. my gf has some coworkers who knew about it and booked a trip so we went on and looked and yeah, stupid cheap. we're going to be there until 10/20. too bad we won't be there at the same time. we're going to oahu. i posted it on facebook last night and i'm pretty sure a few people went on and booked since it was so cheap. ben from casket life/bro loaf decided to go around the same time so we've got some crossover. gonna do some mai tai beer bongs in bro loaf speedos on the beach! what!
