I have been watching HGTV for a month straight, so tonight I am going to start demo-ing my bathroom for the remodel, and Home and Garden Show tomorrow for some cheap solutions/free samples.

I also just turned 43 years old and drink light beer but not to excess.

No shame in that. HGTV is on all the time at our house. You saw first hand the influence...we've been living on unfinished floors for a year and a half...be careful
