ended up getting the tix for stp. had to sit through 2 fuckin' hours of shinedown and then an hour setup due to some bomb threat. needless to say, that was a damned annoying 3hrs. didn't stay for all of stp's set. they did a decent job but just sounded "off" and scott's voice isn't what it used to be.

i got tickets too, but we walked up ash and couldnt even get near the show because of that stupid 'bomb scare'. went and a slice of pizza at taste of tops, could hear some bits and pieces. it was surprisingly loud.

i just heard about the 'bomb scare' and that it was (probably understated) a couple backpacks that security wouldn't let attendees take in. weird. i actually wouldn't have minded going to either of the first two days but only got press passes for sunday. it was funny/cool to see distort, sean be gone and negicore all working 'will call'. right on. of the three bands i saw (avenged sevenfold, stone sour, halestorm), halestorm was probably the best and they still stunk.

today is the one year anniversary of my gf and i's first date. and i'm broke as fuck. we're gonna have dinner and then bike over to a friend's to help celebrate her bday. she's doing the critical mass thing first but my girl isn't comfortable enough on a bike to be surrounded by a ton of people and a bunch of pissed off motorists. saturday we've got a housewarming and then the clash of the titans show at hollywood alley. not sure about sunday but i'm sure there's something. probably some yardword to get the lawn ready for the irrigation coming monday night.

gym and laundry in the morning (OH MY GOD IM JUST LIKE THE SITUATION)
writing and house stuff in the afternoon
one of my old friends that i dont really talk to much turned 30 this week, and as such, she is having a mature adult birthday gathering...at Chuck E Cheese haha
sunday morning breakfast adventure (WHERE WILL IT BE THIS WEEEEEK????) and then a housewarming at my sisters new place and football
jesus christ im not gonna get to relax like, at all this weekend.

i don't think you have to have a bike. we just live close by so we're riding over to her place after everyone is done with the critical mass thing. i'm sure you could just drive over.

I'm currently watching the Tempe 12 gals cover themselves in multicolored ink in our production area, so I wont be leaving the office early. Gonna hit Haus Murphys in Glendale for Happy Hour and to primer for the almighty KISS concert tonight. Going with the ex so it could be ok(ish) but in all reality it will end poorly so I'll end up @ Yucca later to watch the fights @ The Business show. Otherwise zero plans all weekend...
