maybe the yucca. being broke and on a diet that prevents me from drinking def puts a damper on going out. the funeral i was supposed to go to in salt lake city got moved a day and i can't take the time off so i'll be in town. gotta work on some halloween party stuff. and some yard stuff. got a fence to put up. gotta keep busy so i'm not thinking of all the beer i want to be drinking. oh, actually, sunday is indie bowl. so at least i get to bowl even tho no pbr for me.

sunday is the day we get our pup, then probably oogling it for a few hours, then when the novelty wears off probably watching football and reading.

putting my costume together tonight. setting up a house with my 6 bins of halloween crap to prepare for a party that night. i usually do this at my house but after moving into a new place with my gf, we found a friend who didn't mind hosting. sunday, i'll be grabbing some of the decorations to take back to my house to get the place looking spooky for the trick or treaters. gotta do some yardwork earlier in the a.m. though. grass is getting out of hand.

tomorrow night: Monster Ball with Provocatease at the Alwun House (i'm the stage kitten!!)

sunday night: down to tucson for Of Montreal show at the Rialto, Provocatease is opening, i've weaseled my way into being their stage kitten for this show as well! YAY Gonna be rad

Just wanted to pop in and say hi.
Tonight I may collapse as soon as I get out of work, or maybe see some poetry slam benefit for a friend of a friend. ( Fair Trade Cafe, supposed to be done by 10, but will probably run long. I know nothing about poetry slams, I hope to learn some new limericks to sharpie on the bathroom wall at work.)

Tomorrow, I am going to try to pull some sort of costume out of my ass and go to a party or two of friends I have not seen in too long.

Sunday, clean up broken glass and try to give away lots of candy before I eat it all. Kids, if you have the kind of mom that feels it is appropriate to show lots of cleavage while trick-or-treating, please feel free to stop by the house 2 or 3 times.

It's too hot for being November. I hate this. It 88 in my apt last night so I was forced to close all the windows again and turn on the a/c so I could get some sleep finally. blah

At least Friday is finally here. I am looking forward to riding my bike all morning Saturday at the zoo. weeeeee
