yeah she was heavily involved, doesn't mean it's accurate. I love Joan Jett but her account of how the runaways came to be is clouded. Cherie and Joan did not know each other before the band came together (which was put together by a super creepy dude, Kim) and they also didn't get the rights for Lita's portrayal OR Jackie Fox - they completely leave her out! Which I think is really shitty. They went through bassist pretty fast but Jackie was the main one for the most part.
