Could be the alternator or related belt/cable that may have got messed up during the 'servicing'. Could also be that your battery is shot and isn't pushing enough voltage, unrelated to the servic job... If you go to checker, they can test that for you. does the car start normally?

currently thinking what would make the batterly light on my dash come on. I just had my car serviced on Saturday and it was fine. annoyance.

they may have forgotten to top off the blinker fluid. i'd go down and make sure they take care of that..

car starts fine. No weird noises or anything. The battery light just stayed on. They cleaned corrosion off the battery when I got my oil change and inspection. Didn't do that until after that. Also the battery is just over an year old. I really hope it's something fairly cheap to fix. I really can't afford to use my savings on this when I was going to use it for in between job bill money and I don't want to use the credit card as I just paid it mostly off in anticipation for being out of work and getting a new job at half of what I've been earning. ugh ugh ugh. I'll run by checker on my way home tonight and have them test the battery since it's where I got it last year.
