I'm so tired... combined 8 hours of sleep in four days. I wanted to sleep last night but ended up going out with a new hot guy. sigh.

Timberland is coming out with a new line of "green" sunglasses, and I am pumped as they are all wood, light weight, look cool, polarized lense and Timerland is the only mens brand my work carries and until now have been incredibly sub par.

So instead of using oil for the plastic or metal for the frame, trees are getting cut down to make "green" sunglasses. This is why I heavily dislike the "green" movement. Rarely is the problem solved, it's just transferred out of the hands of the consumer or exchanged for something else.

Green is the current hot con the consumers are being sold on, but Timberland is claiming its recycled wood, not sure if its true, or if that matters, they are friggin sunglasses, we could use our resources on other things, but I get free stuff from work, so at best all I am doing is advertising by getting a pair.

Its like adds on food claiming this and that, there is no regulation on what packaged food can claim except on the nutritional info square, they have to be truth full there, so they can claim it will make your schlong grow, increase metabolism, 100% organic and not really be any of that.
Research, awareness, conscious decisions. Thats all it takes.

I have the Greatest American Hero theme stuck in my head.

:(

Maybe I should listen to the Fall Guy theme instead.

I think I will.
