I saw that somebody posted a Goonies link and it made me think of this. I have never seen the movie all the way through and am still not 100% sure what it's about as I've just seen bits and pieces. I always get "oh my goodness, how could you not have seen that" and whatnot.

So what pop culture thing did you miss out on and get similar reactions to?

TV in general. Never seen Lost or House or the office or any of that.

I haven't heard most Led Zeppelin, other than the obvious songs that everyone's heard. Same with the Rolling Stones.

Seriously not my thing, despite the foundations they may have laid.

i hear that zeppelin/rolling stones thing a lot. you should still
go back and listen to all the zeppelin you can. not so much on
the stones, sorry to all the fans out there. but the stones only
had a handful of good songs

I've never seen any of the godfathers completely. and I don't have tv or cable so I'm pretty not up on the latest tv-ese.

I've never seen any Godfather movie. I also haven't seen any of the older, legendary status DeNiro movies.

I actually hated oreo cookies as a child. I got lots of weird looks on that one.
