I finally saw cagematch... and it was good, I too did not stay for Mike V, as I had everyone I know texting me for favors.

why didnt you talk to us!!!

I should have just shut off my phone, I leave the house for 90 minutes on a sunday and everyone acts like it was the end of the world, I was planning chating you up, but "pressing" matters ensured I spent the whole time there on the phone and forcing me to leave very early.

Was the sound there kinda crummy last night or just me?

It's not you, it's Jugheads. I think a new PA is on their horizon.

A new PA would be in order, that is all they do there right, just a PA, no mic-ing of gear and what not. Monitors would be nice, but not necessary in a small bar, but nice.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Yeah Cage Match were good, I wouldnt say they out drew Mike V. in any way shape or form haha. But hey two people on a message board has been known to be the truth. RevMother were fantastic for those that didnt stay, a solid cross between Black Flag and mid era Corrosion Of Conformity, and they new how to put on a show to boot. As for the sound its weird, yes we need a new PA but so do 90% of the places in the valley that we frequent, we do have a monitor but bands have a tendency of turning up louder than need be and not listening to the subtle advice of the house sound guy.

Mid era COC being what? Animosity? If so, then SHIT!!!!! I fucking missed out. Anything after Technocracy is where I think COC took a nosedive.

I like Jugheads again. Well actually I never liked it, but its getting cool now. When is that smoking patio coming? Will drinks be allowed? Are there going to be seats right next to the stage, like a vip booth? Thats what it looked like, maybe it was just storage for the time being, but it would be cool if the next band had to sit there and watch the previous band, sorta like a on deck circle.

I figured Mike V would have a Black Flag sound, but no one mentioned CoC. Dang!
