Cyprus Hill has some really good stuff! I like the whole first album!

Beastie Boys well pauls Boutique was one of the best hip hop records ever!

Never been a huge fan of rap. Mostly into the old school stuff. Gotta say though Sir Mix-A-Lot's Swass LP is a great fucking album.

Think the only somewhat current artists in the genre I've liked are Trick Daddy and Outkast.

I've seen Subtle live twice, good stuff. If you like them, you might like Doseone's other projects including Themselves and Deep Puddle Dynamics (among others).
