he lived behind the farmer house for a little while, he's the one who put up the wood fence.

he would come over to the house shows every now and then.

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Mikey Sarat (or Sarratt, not sure how to spell)
High Noon Tattoo

602.266.1772

4215 N 16th St #9

blocked here but this is his myspace... www.myspace.com/mikeyphx I think.

All my friends go to Mikey. His other website is www.mikey602.com
Also Meg at Love and Hate Tattoo is AWESOME. She excels especially in work with colors
Then there is Colton and his website is www.timehealsallwounds.com and he is very collaborative and unique. He has his studio in his home (it is AMAZING) and my brother lives there. He goes between Phoenix and San Diego doing tattoos.

I am looking for someone who excelled in black and grey portraits... let me know if anyone has a good person for this.

i am bumping this because i'm starting to strongly consider a tattoo.

i already know what i want, and it isn't too fancy (its a schematic, so a bunch of straight lines and simple shapes), but i'm looking to have it cover part of my bicep and forearm.

obviously i don't want to pay out the ass for something, but i also don't want to scrap quality. it would be pretty simple, so i don't think i would have to invest too much time / cash, but then again i don't really know.

aaaaaaaaanyway - recommendations, please!

If it is just lines and no color fills then price should hopefully drop considerably. Some places charge per hour, some charge per session (like $150 for a 3 hour session) and some charge whatever the hell the feel is a fair price. Both of mine took about 3 hours and the bulk of that was coloring.

wait, wait, let me guess... it's going to say "i heart tony". right?

and then people are going to be like "which tony? mancopter? or the other tony?" and you're going to be like "hmmmmm.... i don't know...." and you're going to act all coy about it. but you know.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.
