Highschool was crap.

Did it, hated it, and never want to see them fuckers again.

I have about 5 homies from then and thats it and I see them on the reg.

Man, it sounds like everybody hated high school or had terrible experiences. I went to mid-school and my freshman year in Window Rock, AZ and the kids there were pretty acculturated to modern, trendy things like heavy metal, punk and skateboarding. It's a bordertown, bordering Gallup, NM (haha.).

Anyway, I then moved to Chinle which was super rural and backwards where the majority of the kids spoke Navajo and were either cowboys, jocks or wannabe gangsters (but really bad ones, like lame).

I guess like anywhere else, I was chastised, scrutinized, picked on, had to fight, talked shit to (in Navajo), and just fucked with in general. But I didn't hate it or my school experience.

Nonetheless, I didn't go to my reunion. For some reason, my class lumped like three years of graduates together for one big reunion. And they did it Vegas. When I was too broke to go.

But, I would have if I had the means at the time.

I don't know if my school is going to have one or not next year, but if they do I'm totally going! High School was absolutely horrible for me. I got beat up so bad I ended up in a wheel chair freshman year, I got expelled for bring a gun to school junior year, never went to a dance, had a date or kissed a girl etc...but ten years later I'm a pimp! Haha. I've modeled for The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency, Juicy Couture, Crew, TIGI. I managed a band that got signed to a good label. I've gone on a sold out House of Blues tour. I run a successful company that I am very happy with and have won a "Best of Phoenix" award for! What have all these people who try to add me on FaceBook or Myspace done? Graduated college, working a 9-5, got married, had kids & gained like 50lbs?! Haha.

Wow, awesome! Yeah, I am always so surprised when people Facebook friend me and like, 95% of them are married with kids. Your HS experience sounds terrible. I had a hard sophmore year where I was transitioning away from my old friends because I got in to punk and emo. I cringe to use that word, because it means something totally different now than it did when I was 15...but, I digress. Junior and senior year I had a pretty good group of friends and we had a lot of fun, despite having to go to classes.

I went to mine. It was actually pretty fun. I was super quiet in HS but I had friends. My reunion was super small. I graduated with about 140 some people and only about 35 (?) came to the reunion. In general (most) of the women still looked pretty good, (most) of the men looked pretty terrible, and the people who I hoped had crappy lives had them. Only sort of serious about that last part. All in all, I thought it was worth going. But of course, that was in 2001, before Facebook and all. I had NO idea what most of the people who went were doing, looked like, etc, before I went. Now, all those people who went are on Facebook and I "hide" their info cause I don't care.

I skipped my 5 and 10 year reunions. I was a nobody in high school, and didn't have many friends. Those friends that I did have, I kept in contact for a little while after wards, but by 7 years out, a couple died and I lost contact with the rest, nor did I care to re-establish contact.

I am considering my 20 year, but change my mind constantly. Since I was low profile in HS anyway, I doubt anyone who attends will even know who I am, so I wonder what the point of going would be.
