Totally. I'm only down with watching porn with friends if it is hilariously bad, like Zombie Porn or movie spoofs, or even Hentai. But actually like, watching porn? No thanks. Get the fuck out of my room.

i hear ya. i walked out of the end of a bachelor party once where someone had thrown a porn on. of course i was coming down off of shrooms and everything seemed weird anyway. but yeah, i don't typically sit around and watch porn with dudes. the party bus scenario jacki mentioned i could see being acceptable as its likely not many people would be paying attention to the tv and would be more likely to be drinking and yelling about sports or something equally as awesome.

im pretty sick of the idea that men are sexual beings, women aren't. for the record, women like to fuck, too. its a bunch of nonsense that men use to justify bad behavior.

and frankly, when it comes to porn, i dont need special "woman porn." i think the majority of people are turned on by people fucking each other. and as much as the feminist in me hates to admit, most of the porn i watch probably isnt "woman friendly" but it works like a charm. its a complicated issue that lots of feminists like me deal with. eh, it is what it is.

I think one issue here is that guys wouldn't be at a porn shop, looking at porn, if they had someone that they could be fucking at that moment. So in our minds: "There's a girl in the porn shop...she can't get laid either...I'm gonna go try to fuck her and we'll both be happy!!" I don't think too many guys would choose porn over a real girl.

maybe I am oversimplifying this, but it just sounds like Women like sex just as much as men.

It's in our DNA, if women didn't like it, there would be a hell of a lot more rape going on than there is now.


People like to make things exclusive, white anglo saxon protestant men are the most well known for this, but it goes beyond Gender. If you make something exclusive, others feel left out and want in.

If you make a Girls only porn night, dudes make a stink, if you make a whites only club, everyone not white makes a stink. This is done not only by Gender and Race, but social status, age, sexual preference, types of music one listens to and so on.


It's crazy, but we all want to show our exclusivity in some fashion, but when we do, others try to tear the exclusivity down and justify it by saying it should be for everyone. I don't know whether I am for or against exclusivity, I am just saying it exists and is everywhere we look.

I think Metalbishop was bringing the tradition here and just trying to be funny. Not sure if most of you knew this or not.

So it's a parody of other real posts? [Yeah, I went back and read Jacki's thread.] And why would it be funny? Obviously I'd have to have been there, but I'm pretty tired of the type of "humor" that consists of merely "I made this up -- it's not real -- and that's the funny part." Because I married a dude, and I live with that kind of "humor" 24/7 every freaking day.
