One day back when I was I think 25 I woke up from a nap. I looked up and my grandfather was sitting in a chair across from the couch I was sleeping on. He was talking but I couldnt hear him. I asked him if he was okay and then the phone started ringing I got up and my grandfather just looked at me as I walked past him to where my phone was. I answered and it was my mom telling me that my grandfather had died. I looked back and he wasnt there anymore.

fuck that shit.

i believe most shit is made up or a product of our imagination/subconcious that we interpret to be something more but sometimes shit goes down that you just cant explain with what we know....

my belief is that our world (and universe) is made up of energy and gas and when living things die their energy has to go somewhere and it can go anywhere. it can manifest itself in many different ways.

My energy is going to be made up of gas once I get the machaca from Green you were talking about

but can energy make conscious decisions to scare and haunt people?
I can see some bad vibes bumming some of the more a tune to they're collective unconscious or whatever hanging out in sweat lodges and going to vortexes enlightens

i dont know.
there's positive and negative energy. Destructive energy and productive energy......who knows...dead people i guess.

I had alot of strange things happen to myself, and some fellow Marines, while stationed @ Marine Barracks Japan, Detachment Sasebo. Which, to be more specific, means I was part of the Marine Security Forces @ Sasebo Naval Base on Kyushu Island, in the southern part of the Japanese mainland. We were grunts, responsible for access control, perimeter and ordinance security. Basically, we did alot of jungle patrolling and kept people that didn't belong in the facility, out. This was an important facility, but it wasn't @ the security level of a Nuclear facility, which "Security Force" Marines are also responsible for protecting.
We had 2 different facilities that we were responsible for, and they were both fucked up weird ass places! One of the facilities, (the land, not the actual facility) in the days of the samurai, was used as a place to keep the mentally impaired (sorry if that's not the PC term), which back in that day, were considered to be socially unacceptable. So they separated these people, from the general population. We spent alot of time with "sinons", or "Japanese Sentries". And all of them were very clear about what used to go on there. Apparently, samurai used to stalk these people, murdering them in cold blood, for the sake of samurai training.
Let me just say, that this place was seriously fucked up.....I have numerous stories of things that happened there, and even a few stories about the other facility. Fookin scary shit man! Creeps me out just thinking about it....

I lived next to an old, old cemetery for most of my life. 22 or 23 years next to it. My bedroom was right next to it and I could peak out my window to see it. But in all those years it never really scared me. I'd walk through it to get to my friend's house day or night. Never once got any bad feelings or saw anything weird.

But I've been to other places that freaked me out a great deal. I think this kind of stuff is really psychological for the most part, at least from my own experience. I've been more scared walking to my car at my friend's house in the middle of nowhere after watching a scary movie than at any point living next to a cemetery.

my mother swears something similar like this happened to her with one of her best friends. She was having bad dreams and woke up really early and went downstairs to get some water and swears she saw her best friend sitting in a chair in our family room as she was coming down the stairs.
she got a call later that morning that he had died of liver failure.

He had been sick for a long time and was pretty much at death's door the week before he died (he couldn't speak the last two weeks he was alive) so i know my mother had been stressing out about him but she swears she saw him.

i believe in ghosts and energy...i'm not sure what they are or where they originate from. more than anything, i think certain places contain a vibe.

mark thinks our house is haunted. he calls it the "pain cave".

i don't think it's haunted. i think we're just crazy. so it has a crazy house vibe.

he doesn't like the fact that i keep the house so dark, with dimmers on the lights and heavy curtains covering the windows.

but i like my pain cave and i like it dark...so there.

I do believe that there is "the Other side" I have just never seen or had anything happen to me yet.

I do find it fascinating!

a lot of people say they have those experiences.

could be subconcious thing (i know i am not spelling that right but i dontz care)

a few weeks after my boss was killed i had this bizarre dream where i was with him and we were walking down a long hallway and he fell and hurt himself and i was trying to help him but he was like "just go on without me" and i was worried about him but he kept reassuring me.

i know it was my mind telling me it was ok that he died. but it really was a reassuring dream. and i woke up feeling like a weight had been lifted.

Until scientists start winning Nobel prizes for their discovery of ghosts/paranormal/ouija board portals, etc...i am not gonna be a believer. I need more than "I felt, I knew," .. intuitive & anecdotal don't do it for me. I'm no fun. :P
