Very cool. I like it when the media will actually acknowledge that inmates aren't necessarily pure evil and scum of the earth.

i found it interesting that their inmate attack rates are down since they started treating the inmates more humanely......

Crazy huh? It's almost like the entire prison system needs to re-evaluate itself on rehabilitation...

well maybe that will happen once az privatizes the prison system which is happening soon.

Turns out that the amount of money the state would get for doing this ($100 million) was nothing more than an "optimistic projection" now that they've been looking into it, it's gonna fall pretty short. Big surprise.
And privatizing any sector of our law enforcement just screams "terrible idea."
