when are you most creative?

When I'm stoned.
When I'm lightly drinking.
When it's the earliest part of the morning (whether it's staying up late, or waking up early)
When I'm out in nature.
When I'm able to suppress my self-consciousness.
When I'm somewhere completely new (to me).
When I'm listening to music that meets the moment, like a soundtrack on a movie (being stoned would act as a force multiplier when combined with this one...)
When I'm around people that I'm completely comfortable and uninhibited with.
When I'm not being rushed.

When I'm out in nature.
When I'm able to suppress my self-consciousness.

My best advice is to try breaking whatever routine you may be in. I find myself getting lulled into the same activities all the time, and things like this really make our brains stagnant. Or this doesn't apply to you at all. This thread just made me realize I haven't felt creative in a long time.
Good luck.

I get that. Personally, I found this exercise helpful in reminding myself of some of the things I can actually control, and if done so properly, can result in my being in a better (in this case, a more "creative") mindset. This thread just made me realize I haven't felt creative in a long time.
You should give it a try!
