i walked in to the "backstage room" while sleepytime
was getting dressed for their performance at this show.
i have never been the same since.
I believe it.
I went to see them in Tucson once, and got into a car accident. I still made the show.
There was a guy with his hands opened out about his head, like a chicken's mohawk, and he
was dancing and beeping. Something weird always happens at a Sleepytime show.

Ok, there is a pretty strong possibility of me coming out for this, Greyhound tickets aren't too expensive. I'm looking at coming in at 4:30pm-ish on Saturday afternoon and leaving 3:30am on Sunday morning. Can anyone pick me up / house me for the few hours I'm in Phoenix / drop me off at the Greyhound station? That's pretty much what seals the deal. Somewhat let me know ASAP. I'm posting this at both Minibosses and Shows forum.
Also, if there is room for a fat dude with a Game Boy to play a couple songs between bands or something, that would rock.
Fairly sure I can come get ya, and you know you are always welcome at Casa Weener.

I love the modified and hate to see it go, but I understand that it's time to move on.
It was great having Kimber speak to everyone before the Minibosses last song and the onstage lovefest during Metroid.
Minibosses ending the night seemed very fitting to me because I think some of the first shows I ever saw at the modified was, Minibosses, After Any Accident and Trois Pistoles, with some Richard Minardi acts in there too.
Some of the things I have seen/done/heard/smelled in that place I will never forget. Some good some bad, but definitely memorable

And the Minibosses. Despite being a bit shorter than the other times I've seen them and missing some key songs, it was probably my favorite time seeing them. Fred stealing Wood's tom and banging on that shit in the crowd with everything he had was THE SHIT. I'm glad that I finally got out to Modified to see the Bosses (something I've been wanting to do since the ultimate show).
Want to give a big thanks to Weener for transporting me around Phoenix and giving me a place to stay, and overall being a rad person to hang out with.
See you guys in a few weeks!
