All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

I have no hip hop on my list, because I always got 'em as promos. I am affraid to buy hip hop records cause they usually suck and discover the stuff I like for free...Damn not working in a record store any more...

everything else was inferior in my book

Rumor has it they are coming in March and I will kill for that show!!!!!!!!! Oh how I love The Paper Chase.

Haven't listened to too many albums from this year...in fact, the only things that really come to mind are Dinosaur Jr's "Farm", Lou Barlow's "Goodnight Unknown" and Jimmy Eat World's "Clarity Live" (don't give a fuck if that counts, as it's my favorite album of the year regardless). Need to listen to the new album by The Sounds and see how that is. I suck at keeping track of music.

Don't worry about the Clairty love. It totally counts. That fucking record made me. Any new version of it will always count.
