You might not want to get a flimsy road bike then. Get an OLD schwinn. Ameri-built and pretty heavy duty. I just picked one up and I am super stoked on it. They are heavier than flimsy road racers, but they also won't snap in half if you fly off a curb unexpectedly.

hahah Skeksis hasnt seen me in a while. I have dropped about 90 lbs. So tall yes but not much more.

I finally got back on the wii fit this last weekend and found that I had lost 14lbs! Sweet.

So I'm actually kinda psyched on eating better (which I have been doing) and getting more exercise.

So yes when I first started this thread I got an old Schwinn mountain bike and I rode that dand thing and now Im trying to land a sweet street bike. I have looked on craigslist and I might go put my own together at the bike Co-Op but I just put it out there incase someone wanted to just get rid of one they have. But thanks for the input.

ive been hitting the gym for a few weeks now and i cant seem to lose belly. im getting muscle-y though. well, more than i was.

Mikey you could always put road slicks on your Mtn bike and drop down bars. It would be a frankencycle but it would get the job done.

Yeah I have thought about that, TK. I have already modified that bike to single gear and replaced the handle bars but I think Rial may have hooked me up with a big 60cm road bike.

I saw the most gnarly frankencycle the other day. It was a tall bike, two frames welded together. nothing matched. at all, even the pedals were totally different shapes. poor kids on bikes.
