Light rail adventures

I'll start with some of the notables from last year:
-an older man applying wart medicine to the various warts covering his hands.
-this older man got on the train and brushed against this seated 30 something man while trying to get to an open seat. The seating man, who I will henceforth call "crazy eyes," took super offense to this and said something that I couldn't exactly hear. Other dude said something back to crazy eyes, and then threw his cup of water into crazy eyes' face. Crazy eyes started laughing, and then punched other dude in the face. Other dude falls onto this 2 person seat containing a girl, maybe 16, with what I assumed was her little brother, he looked all about 3. I was sitting directly behind them. The girl's trying to shield her brother while crazy dudes pounds on other guy on top of her. Soon someone else on the train jumps up and pulls crazy eyes off of other dude, but then crazy eyes turns on the good samaritan and starts trying to fight him. In this time other dude has gotten up and rained blood from his face onto the girl and her brother, as well as all the seats and the floor of our part of the train. The train is moving this whole time. Finally it stops and other dude darts out while crazy eyes is yelling, "whose next? who wants to take me? Back it up, man, back up your talk!" The driver says over the intercom, "the police have been called, exit the train." Crazy eyes says, "I'll leave when I want to leave!" and slowly walks backwards off of the train, trying to make crazy eyes at anyone who dares look him in the face. After he gets off the doors close and the train keeps moving. I watched the blood and water mixture on the floor swish back and forth for another 10 stops before getting off. No one came to clean up the blood.

here's one from the bus...
I was at the bus stop waiting to go back to the pool and these three homeless dudes were sitting behind me. First they talked about how 9/11 was caused by the government. "Didn't you see the planes! They had no windows! It was an inside job! They were trying to get the gold! And what did they find under the twin towers? One block of gold! It was all for nothing." Then the really drunk third one who hadn't said anything other than a random "I want milk!" earlier starts talking about how he could take one of the other ones in a fight. So then the two of them decide to go fight. The not fighting bum makes them go into the parking lot so they aren't close to me. He tells me they are crazy but they really won't fight. I glance at the parking lot and guess what, they are actually fighting. The years of sun, alcohol, and homelessness has left their fighting skills less than impressive but they still sluggishly went at it They came back to the bus stop and said now they were brothers again. When the bus came they all said bye to me.

My thesis is called the "Black-Emperor-Says Theory" and holds that any any Phoenix-area indie rock festival there is a 100 percent probability that Emperors of Japan, Black Carl, and/or What Laura Says will be on the bill.
