There's almost as much parity in our league as there is in the for real football league. It's going to be a great finish, and i'm bummed there's no prize for the winner.

just bragging rights i guess. i'm more bummed i made some bonehead decisions that cost me some close matchups. but oh well, this is my first time doing it and it's allowed me to be more in touch with what's going on in the league. i used to know every player on every team, who their coach was, and what their current record was. that's definitely not me today. so this has been pretty cool. and i'm surprised i won this week. any time i shit-talk it usually ensures that i embarrass myself. ha

looks like ive got another monday night matchup to determine my week...im ahead by like 30, but i only have one skins receiver. brady has mcnabb and akers, both of whom are gonna score some shit. this might come right down to the wire again.

this is my first time doing it. super easy. you basically pick people you want on your team from what's available. those players get points based on their performance. if the players on your team earn more points than the players on the team you're up against that week, you win.

yeah.. you'd have to wait until next season. although i think some places do playoff leagues where you draft guys that will be playing in the playoffs. not sure how that works exactly. you don't really have to know a lot about football. most people play for fun anyway, so you're not really at risk of losing any money or anything. so if you suck, no big deal. the more you know about the game, the better you're likely to do. however, you can't predict how someone is going to play on any given sunday so you could be a very knowledgeable person and still lose to a beginner.
