naw.. if i was butthurt it'd be agains the horse and hound owner that sucked so bad maria and i split for nita's.. and then that folded. bummertown for phx. i definitely don't miss being involved with putting on shows. everytime i go to one i'm reminded of why. i'm content with posters and fliers these days.

I think people forget that musicians are the most sensitive bunch of people out there.

Many musicians are self centered egocentric people who need attention, otherwise they wouldn't be writing music and jumping on stage trying to get people watching and listening to them. If (new) promoters understood where alot of these artists were coming from it would help make doing business easier in many cases.

I'm so glad I'm not a real promoter, I have promoted some shows, but pretty much only local shows in small places. Fuck if I would ever want to deal with out of town bands and worry about guarantees. Worry that the night of my show is the night of someone elses big show which will totally fuck my shit up.

I think people like Jeremiah, Psycho Steve, and Will Anderson are fucking nuts for doing what they do, but if they weren't so nuts I guess I wouldn't have as much respect for them

definitely! hoping a show does well so you don't lose your rent money is scary shit.

Haha. Thank you all for the kind words and support. I should have a poster made up soon, so if you all could help me spread the word and get people to sign up for the class that would be awesome! I have a lot of cool things in mind for the class!

Weener - I couldn't stop laughing at your comment! I think we both do things that bug each other, but we somehow get past it, work together and put on some kick ass shows! Haha

Jeremx - I didn't even remember that you ever worked security at Clubhouse! I remember that show clearly it was Starflyer 59, The Lyndsay Diary's & Fine China! Super Christian rock show that would have done over 200 in Glendale, but Psyko Steve convinced me to do it at Clubhouse because he had just done The Jealous Sound & The Stereo there and it did really well, so I blame him! Haha
