Thanks for posting this Jacki (pt II wasn't loading for some reason though) - I loved the "Pick and choose journalism" comment - that really hit it for me.

I spent my first 12 years there and moved back after high school for 3 more. Living, working and schooling in the ci-tay. The overall vacancy of the entire city is just overwhelming. Maybe the place has actually emptied out enough for people to really start making a difference. And there were more young white kids in those clips than I ever saw south of 8 mile. Even if they are just commuters, it's nice to see them supporting the local economy (plus donating their hubcaps and other valuables left in the car to the locals).

One more observation - For a guy that did crazy stunts on Jackass for a living - I noticed that he wasn't cruising around Detroit after dark in that old Caddy. Even Steve-O wouldn't attempt that one!
