Oh god. I actually started reading The House with the Clock in its Walls when I was in middle school, was intrigued, but it disappeared and I could never remember the title of it! I'm so going to read it now.
Did anyone else read anything by William Sleator? House of Stairs is his best-known book. His books are always big mind-fucks, totally interesting to me even though I started reading him at 23 or whatever.
