after losing 3 family members this year and now hearing that my grandmother is in the hospital as i type this, i'm pretty damn ready for 2010 to be over. having said that, (and trying not to have a pity party thread) i usually do a holiday house party every year for friends. mostly azpunk people that i've known for quite some time. however, this year i'm using the yucca tap room's whiskey lounge to host the party. our house is still not ready to accommodate that many people. anyway, it's this saturday at 8pm. it's a semi formal kinda thing where you can bring a holiday dish and listen to holiday music (from twisted sister to bing crosby) and enjoy some hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps and/or whiskey and egg nog. we also do a white elephant/yankee swap/dirty santa gift exchange kinda thing ($10-$20). just throwing it out there for anyone here who may not have anything going on this saturday night. super friendly people at a great location. oh, and casket life is playing next door for those of you who like that loud rock and roll that all the kids are listening to these days.

the later half of 2010 was way better for me than the first half but fer realz, fuck 2010.

this has been a very very weird year for me, many ups and downs.


I will be glad to see this year over, also as an aside this new years will be the shizz 9th year anniversary.

i have no idea where i will be saturday...literally. its my oldest friends 30th birthday thing and we are basically just going where the night (and the train) take us. so who knows????

and i will say this year has overall been pretty good for me. some SEVERE setbacks are undercut by the fact that i pretty much love my life. BRING ON THE NEXT SHIT SONNNNNNNNN

The first three months of 2010 was the best! I was SOOOOO happy about everything.

The rest, have just been so-so with some not so great things happening (like cut in salary), yet overall I don't have much to complain about due to my overall happiness in my life. 2011 should be a big year for me - a little scared about plans I have - in a good way though.

2010 has been one damn wild rollercoaster. Started off getting more and more frustrated and depressed with my job. Then I lost my job in May which at first was awesome. Spent the whole summer riding my bike and doing whatever I pleased and lost 15 lbs. As soon as it started getting cold I stopped riding my bike and more or less stopped doing things period. Lot's of sitting in my room and generally being pretty depressed about life. Joined a new band a few months ago though and that's been the one thing that's been going pretty ok.

Overall though 2010 can go fuck itself.
