This Tsunami is probably going to have a real high death toll.
It looks to me like it could be worse than the 2004 one.

on the one hand, japan is probably the country that is most prepared for something like this. on the other hand, it was such a massive quake that happened so close to shore that people might not have had time to get away. i saw video of cars on the highway that were trying to drive away from the water just get swallowed up.

Nuclear power plants ... represent the most dangerous way to boil water ever devised.
I'm sure there are nuclear plants that are quite safe, but building one on a fault line really does seem like a bad idea.

Yeah Im poking fun but in all seriousness this is horrid and some of the video is so freaky.
It almost seems like every time things in the world look like they might be going okay the earth comes along and says no and kills a shit ton of us off. This is very sad for shores. No pun intended
