got an invite from a friend earlier and just started playing around with it. seems like it could be pretty cool. it does let you send out invites so if anyone wants one.. shoot me your email address and i'll send ya one.

no problem..
and yeah, it's looks a little like a buzz/facebook/twitter mashup but i'm interested in trying out the hangouts thing when i get home.
and the circles thing is a fuckload easier than trying to create lists of people to share things with on facebook. if i want to talk about something i don't particularly care for my 16yr old cousin to see, i can simply not send it out to the "family" circle. win.

I have this weird thing about me that I can't let something just sit unread and that little red 1 notification keeps pooping up in the corner even though there isn't anything that I haven't seen. That is annoying me.

that's not happening to me. when i click it, the red goes away until something new pops up. could be your browser cache.

it wont let me upload a profile pic and pictures are messed up on my phone and I cant find any of my friends (When I know several have it) I'll try it on an actual computer but I'm not crazy about the mobile version

I'm just excited that it's google which means it's legitimate competition for facebook (which badly needs some competition given the shitty design and performance).

I've had it for about 4 days, but have barely messed around w/ it.
Basically poking and proding w/ out reading the directions.
I dumped a whole buch of people into my Friends Circle, which thinking back on it, I'd probably have really moved to something like a "people I spam about TS" Circle so I'll have to adjust that.
The thing I don't get yet is how/if it treats non-gmail users differently them folks who are "all in".
I've got a TS gmail account that's diff' then my personal gmail, but it's just 'parked'.
I'd rather not have to move everything over from the TS yahoo account which I like the interface to tons more then gmail's folder system.
I'm off from my dayjob next week, I'll probably work on it then, in between reading copious ammounts of comic books and going to Flag for a couple days.
I'll hand out some accounts too if anyone is still needing one and I can figure out how to do that.
