I'm more curious about the financial ramifications involved (ie, how this will affect Facebook's supposed IPO next year) than the actual product.

I've been realizing that FB has in fact decreased the amount of socializing and networking that I do (confirmed in this cracked article) so I'm not in a big rush for g+.

I eventually will try it, though.

C'mon, dude. Cut me some slack. I listen to Marketplace on the drive home every night. Black metal is too crazy for stuck-in-traffic listening.

A lot of boring stuff like that sticks, and actually starts to get interesting, especially in areas I'm familiar.

And Kai Rysdall is a very engaging radio host </npr fanboy>
