So I saw this in the Miniboss forum gif thread

And it got me thinking about all the times Elvis has been portrayed in the media--movies, tv, even just being aped in photo spreads.

One of my favorites is Bruce Campbell as an aged and dying King from BUBBA HOTEP.

Based on a short story by Joe R. Lansdale, and directed by Don Coscarelli (Phantasm) it's ostensibly a horror flick, but really a good and subtle comment on what happens to legends after they slip from collective memory.

Who else has done a take as E.P.?

There was an episode of the second incarnation of "Twilight Zone" called "The Once and Future King" that had Jeff Yagher ("Seinfeld," "V," "Six Feet Under") as an Elvis impersonator who ends up going back in time, meeting the real Elvis (also played by Yagher), convincing him he's his twin brother and didn't really die at birth (as happened in real life), and replaces Elvis after accidentally killing him in self-defense. I swear, it's better than my summary probably makes it sound. Either way, Yagher is great in it.

One of my faves is the episode of the 90s TV series, "Eerie Indiana", where Marshall falls in love and gets advice from Elvis.
