Hudební historie mùže být rozèlenìna rùznými zpùsoby. Tato práce rozdìluje hudbu do sedmi hlavních oddílù, a to hudbu starovìkou, støedovìkou, renesanèní, barokní, klasicistní, romantickou a hudbu 20. století. Každý oddíl je krátce charakterizován a doplnìn o seznam nejdùležitìjších autorù a doporuèených nahrávek.
Jiné úèelné rozdìlení je možné podle návaznosti jednotlivých slohù a technik. Toto rozdìlení zaèíná církevní hudbou - chorály, pozdìji hrou na varhany, z èehož se pozdìji, za pøispìní svìtské hudby, vyvinuly "umìlé" formy koncertu, opery, atd.
Jednotlivé kapitoly jsou vždy èlenìny na dvì èásti - svìtovou a èeskou hudbu. Informace o svìtové hudbì zde plní také úlohu kontextu, v nìmž lépe vyjdou najevo èeská specifika.

It is unfortunate that i spent 2 years, sold 3 of my own cars, all my snowboards, my condo and got every loan i could to build a venue NOT FOR ME-BUT FOR BANDS...
I created a menu that i like-hoping others will too... i serve, i cook, i clean, i book, i promote, i eat top ramen every night and day- i pay bands even when they do not draw because i know how hard it is to be in a band and survive...
and it's hard to swallow the fact that we hired someone that came to us for a job and that same person walked out in the middle of a shift leaving us dry with just a time card sitting there- no number, no address, nothing!

I am gonna say this and then I would appreciate for the subject to drop because
I don't see the point in this thread other then people venting, (which in a public
forum is not always the best place to do).
I don't know what issues other bands have encountered with Cole, and if bands
have had issues with Cole that is unfortunate. I myself can't really say anything
bad about the guy or the place. Cole has honestly supported me and the night
to help get it going, I believe he honestly digs the music and I believe it was
more for helping get the word out then it was for a buck. Because I know that
I'm not getting any money out of doing this, and Cole isn't making very much.
I would definitely hope that if people have issues to take it up with the people
they have issues with. Chad if they aren't paying you go to the Better Business
Bureau, stop crying. Cole I don't know what your doing to piss these people off
so ya better stop. I don't like seeing crap like this on my board. Especially when
I am involved some way.
With that said, I like both ya guys and hopefully you guys can make up (it's doubtful,
but it's what I am hoping for)

participants in the shizz have reached a new low when we chastise and ridicule a place that allows us the opportunity to express our music in a public venue. It would be wonderful to see attendance on Thursdays equal to the amount of naysayers on the board. I know it really sucks to force yourself to pay free admission and drink $2 PBR drafts and listen to creative bands in a cool setting. Until someone else opens a huge club, offers a shizz night and allows Donald complete control of booking, perhaps we should focus less on rants and more on raves.

music community, right?
i don't think there's anything
wrong with bringing this up here.
i like to hear both sides of the
story so i'm also glad there
was a response from the brickhouse.
if the brickhouse had a problem
with the shizz or one of its bands,
we would certainly want them to
bring it up, wouldn't we?
chad has an opinion and wanted
to voice it and i don't think there's
any reason why he shouldn't be able
to voice it here. if people are going
to judge without hearing the other
side of the story (as they often do),
let them. you can't smartify dumb
people overnite.
as for not criticizing a place that
allows the shizz to hold a nite there,
i think that is ridiculous. anyone should
be allowed to criticize anyone or any venue
as long as the other party has a right to
rebuttal.
this isn't a new low, things like this
need to get aired out if any scene
is really going to be ironed out.
