Chad,

I am sincerely down with you as well as your band, but Donald is correct when he points out that a public forum is not the place to air personal grievances. No one says the Brickhouse is perfect, but you are slanderous when you claim the food is covered in slime. you have the right to your opinion, and I always love hearing them, but I still believe the brickhouse is doing more good than harm.

best regards,
nathan

Damm Aaron Burke..that was right on the money.
well said!

"this is a forum where we talk
about stuff happening with the
music community, right?
i don't think there's anything
wrong with bringing this up here.
i like to hear both sides of the
story so i'm also glad there
was a response from the brickhouse.
if the brickhouse had a problem
with the shizz or one of its bands,
we would certainly want them to
bring it up, wouldn't we?

chad has an opinion and wanted
to voice it and i don't think there's
any reason why he shouldn't be able
to voice it here. if people are going
to judge without hearing the other
side of the story (as they often do),
let them. you can't smartify dumb
people overnite.

as for not criticizing a place that
allows the shizz to hold a nite there,
i think that is ridiculous. anyone should
be allowed to criticize anyone or any venue
as long as the other party has a right to
rebuttal.

this isn't a new low, things like this
need to get aired out if any scene
is really going to be ironed out. "

I agree. The Brickhouse and Cole have been more than gratious and helpful to me and my band. How can you put down a venue that is struggling just as hard as the rest of us in this so called music scene in arizona. I rememeber playing shows where we had to pay the sound guy to mix us. I think what cole is offering to do for the local bands in the valley is great.

you are slanderous when you claim the food is covered in slime.
I WORKED THERE AND THEY HAD SOME OLD STUFF LIKE SLIMEY HOT DOGS AND THE GUY (not cole) SERVED ONE....NO BIGGIE.....I KNOW ABOUT RESTAURANTS AND UNDERSTAND THAT IT'S HARD TO THROW OUT $$$$ WHEN BIZ IS SLOW AND YOU'RE JUST STARTING OUT......I HAVE KNOW IDEA ABOUT ANY OTHER TIME....I'M SURE IT'S FINE NOW.

you have the right to your opinion, and I always love hearing them,
THANKS....SAME GOES FOR YOU
I still believe the brickhouse is doing more good than harm.
I ABSOLUTLY AGREE (FOR BANDS).JUST NOT FOR ME PERSONALLY.
BUT WHO CARES? I DON'T ANYMORE.
LISTEN.....
I WANT KEVIN AND COLE TO DO GOOD....OUT OF OUR REMAINING VENUES
(ALL 3-4)THAT HAVEN'T CLOSED DOWN YET, IT'S ONE OF OUR BEST.

I don't like these sort of arguments because it polarizes an otherwise functional group.
Lets stay on topic and enjoy our lives as musicians and as friends.
