Hey all,
I'm organizing the "Rock n' Roll yard-sale....what have you" and anyone interested in donating stuff to please contact me ahead of time.
I see this as kind of a fun way to raise some money, so if you wanna participate, be creative with what you want to donate......like, no Dell 486's and no stinky mattresses, or couches.
if you have a collection of hair bands on cassette, or a Zildijian satin jacket--that would be cool.
Ideally i'd like the theme to be "rock n' Roll:" dig?
rickyvitamin.at.yahoo.com
good stuff i'm thinking of right now: vinyl of various sizes, cd's tapes
weird paintings or art objects
funny lamps
video game stuff
old stereo equipment
music equipment
comics, old 'zines
punk rock buttons, t-shirts, etc.
I'm hoping to get all the stuff together in the Modified parking lot prior to the 1.30 door time so we can lay out all the stuff:
It seems like there is a lot of interest, and its really cool!
Thanks, Rich

that he had a special strip-show planned
or maybe that was a lot of whiskeys and he was
mentioning this from under the barstool
or maybe it was me pinching his mouth between my fingers
making him say it...
whatever... i've got it in blood on a cocktail napkin
“You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve Albini? You just put your lips together and blow.”

Rum Tenor-mediocre, tedious goof rock
Vin Fiz-never heard em, their name sucks
The Ruby Lee-ditto
Bella-poser punk rock. if they weren't chicks, nobody would care.
And Guppies Eat Their Young-this is the only band on here worth a damn.
The Winners-oh nice. the promoter of the event puts his own band in the lineup.
Peachcake-blah
Existi-musical dysentery
Missouri Loves Company-cool name. boring fucking band.
The Necronauts-oh christ. are these guys still around? musical pap smear.

i could respect your opinion
on any of those bands if i knew
who you were...but let me guess,
you won't say, right? prolly some
kid whose band didn't make it onto
the shizz or something and is
taking it personally.
plus it's one thing for someone
to not like some bands, but
to shittalk a benefit for modified?
on your first, anonymous post?
sounds bitter to me.
you've only been here a few
months but the necronauts
are still around? you've managed
to check out most of these bands?
yeah ok.
