Wow, he sounds like a real winner. What a role model. Does he actually think his shtick is cool? Notice he doesn't bother to mention what makes him angry? That's because it is him. Sounds like he hates himself to me.

Nunya, you nailed it, it's called SPCS or Small Penis Compensation Syndrome. Well at least it is in the Lipfert dictionary.

The Descendents said it best:

Leave me alone

See if you can do two things at once
Go away and leave me alone

Let's see if we can exploit rock and roll

He is angry because he forgot what it feels like to write, play and perform music because he genuinely loved it. He is also angry because apparently they don't make a big enough vehicle...Isn't the Excursion 900 ft long???

All the time when I tell people what I do they say, "Oh I don't understand art, I can't even draw." (or worse, "I only like art I can understand.") Well, ya know what, I don't know how to make a car, but I sure appreciate being able to drive one.

Like em or not you gotta respect NoFX:

-They won't sign to a major, give songs to corporate radio, or give videos to MTV
-Fat Mike runs 3 labels that put out a ton of music by bands that otherwise wouldn't have that outlet
-They say what they think and don't give a fuck about what anyone thinks about it.
-They have basically defined a whole genre with their creativity and ideas

Anyway, I don't listen to them as much as I used to but their new record is pretty good.

Chad- that 7" called Fuck The Kids? Yeah, they got together and went into the studio and Mike had the songs. He taught the other guys the riffs and changes and as soon as they got it they recorded. They did it all in one day. That was pretty funny. They did that again last year, the new one is called Surfer and the cover is a parody of Suffer by Bad Religion.

Kristin, a Saturn is cool in my book. I wonder if a Honda is cool? I will have to ask James Hetfield. He is the authority on cool after all.

I thought this was an interesting commentary on St. Anger.
