I went to this mediteranean place for lunch today, and it was awesome.

It's called ZakeE's Mediteranean Eatery on the southewest corner of Rural and Ray. Very good food, and the guy sounds exactly like Sean Connery.

I am talking about this place because, the last time I was there, there were plenty of people going there and business seemed fairly good, this was before the war, now the place is empty alot of the chairs are gone and he no longer has fountain drinks, you can only buy cans of soda or bottles of juice. It is really good food and I would hate for the place to go out of business. The owner is super cool, and even though I hadn't been there in months he still remembered me.

I love their Lamb Shwarma, and they have great Baklava, if you like good mediteranean food, definitely check it out.

the food here is very very awesome, and reasonably priced. the baklava is evilly good. and sean connery is a wonderful host, almost creepy with the memory, though. he like remembers what you ordered for months at a time. good food + eerie restauranteur = yum.

Matt and I went to this place one day and it was really good food. We were the only 2 people in there. I think I would go more if I understood what the items were on the menu. I tried a lamb schwarma but I didn't know what it was going to be until I opened it.

Why don't you spread the word on a guide to Mediterranean cuisine? That would be helpful. Mary had a little lamb, so she made some SCHWARMA. Yeah. Lamb with something like a cucumber-based dressing.

Aaron, that is a great idea, but it should be about locally owned businesses (Zakee's, The Alley, Stinkweeds) and not corporate chains like say Guitar Center or something. Just my 2 cents.
