Anyway...been on a huge electronica kick lately:
Nurse With Wound - Soliloquy For Lilith
Yellow Swans - At All Ends
Phonem - Hydro Electric
Lustmord - Rising (track 2 scares the shit out of me)
some random Kraftwerk which I just can't get into
McClursky - McKlurskyism (however the fuck you spell their name)

While the likelihood of it selling out in Tempe is *slightly* less than them selling out in other cities, it should be stated that these dudes sell out just about every show they play.

Listening to a lot of Andrew Bird just in the random public environment. Note: whistling is gaining popularity again in coffee shops and bars.
Maybe just in San Francisco?
The baristas who fetch my coffee here usually just scowl and tell me how stupid I am.

Hey Doc, Elma and I saw Clouds open for Boris at the Middle East. First time I heard them, I really enjoyed their faster stuff. I'll have to check out and listen more intently to their slower tunes but overall I dug 'em! Boris, on the other hand, were a HUGE disappointment. The drummer kept peppering every song with "WOOOO!!"s and I couldn't stop laughing.
Yeah man Boris is hit or miss for me. I liked Pink but then they were all "That type of music is beneath us." and won't putting out any more stuff like that. The only other album of theirs I've liked is Rainbow.
That Clouds album is so so good though. Heisenberg Says is like a throwback mid-90's song.

Have you listened to the new album? It's a lot like Rainbow in many ways.Hey Doc, Elma and I saw Clouds open for Boris at the Middle East. Somehow I always thought that Mogwai sucked, so I never listened to them until recently.

Their early stuff is so so so awesome. Come On Die Young is my favorite album.
