NMH - In the Aeroplane Over the Sea

I can't believe I slept on this album as long as I did. I was listening to it today I thought "This is what the Decemberists would be if they weren't such drama school drop outs." Oh. What?

Also I cannot stop listening to this Torche album.
Also "52 Girls" by Bluetip is an awesome song.
Also.

Hell yes. I actually thought I wouldn't like that album for years, so I never listened to it. Then I heard it one day and was all "shit, this is amazing..."

I've revisited The Night Marchers' LP lately and I don't think it's as bad as I first thought. The first half is pretty damn good actually.

I'm loving it, minus the somewhat annoying echo effects on the vocals. The first two thirds are definitely awesome, Branded and Closed For Inventory being my favorites. Wish I caught em live. The slower stuff doesn't do it for me, but I'm a sucker for Reis' voice.

threw in Amon Tobin - Chaos Theory and remembered how awesome it is.

oh yeah, ATDI - Vaya

I dunno. That's why I asked. :)

I'm a pretty big JKB fan, and I like the occasional Jarboe, but that collaboration seems about as appealing as eating brownies with lemonade.
