Yeah Part Chimp are awesome. Both their full lengths kick ass (I Am Come and Chart Pimp).

Cup is the new(er) full length. but it also has at least one song that i know of from i am come (30,000,000,000) on it, so i'm not sure if it's all new or what. either way, it's loud as fuck.

i LOVE it.
cant get enough! and they are playing with beach house so i am double excited for the show!!
Finally got a chance to hang out with this album today. Great all the way through. I approve!
I'm also jealous they're coming through your neck of the woods - they haven't touched Phoenix in at least a couple years now.

The Wallace & Ladmo theme! (which was played immediately after the Walkmen album, 'cause iTunes is all alphabetical and shit.)

A friend got that for me for Christmas and I like it alot. They aren't really doing anything new (instrumental rock. woo), but is sounds different and fresh.
Fleet Foxes - s/t. I finally gave in and listened to them. Pretty damn good. They remind me of what I like about old My Morning Jacket.

haven't been listening to anything really aside from the radio. i'm looking for a dual cassette player, a portable one. one that looks rad and doesn't take ten D batteries.
aside from that, I went to trax on wax last sat and bought two clash 45s (gates of the west and london calling) a fat boys 45 (wipeout b/w crushin'), a morrisey 45 (suedehead) and the cure's 'head on the door' LP.
then to eastside and got: dahmer/jean seberg EP, husker du 'candy apple grey' LP, erase errata (some remix lp), and love and rockets 'earth moon sun' lp.
la dee dah.
