A band I enjoy, but I completely understand the distaste others may have.

quruli is an asian band. Their stuff is hard to find. Soulseek that shit. It ranges from odd pop, rock, instrumental, electronic.......they even have a song on that album that sounds like a gospel rock song....a japanese gospel rock song. They are on speedstar records.ok, any ribbing on personal preffrences for music is in good fun.

Destroyer is a band that I am sure most of you would think is completely annoying. Very dream like and folky with synths. The synth voices they use are the ones nobody likes to use. The "ooohhhs" and the cheesey late 70's early 80's sounding string effects. At times it reminds me of music by harry nilsson.
The Stick Men are a CRAZY dance punk band from the 80's. You can buy their stuff from Cuneiform records an underground avant jazz/prog label. The song they have on that label's site is definitely not a defining song for them. www.cuneiformrecords.com
word up estrogen. Winter's Love seems to be my fav track.

Destroyer actually isn't a band. It's one guy named Dan Bejar who is also the guitarist for The New Pornographers. If you like Your Blues check out This Night, the previous album. I like it even better.

Currently listening to:
Broken Social Scene ~ You Forgot It in People (mancopter said to. he was right. it's good.)
Swervedriver ~ Mezcal Head (i love raise, but it is the only record by them i had ever heard, until now.)
Oh yeah, Carl Newman of The New Pornographers just put out a solo record under the name A.C. Newman. It's awesome too.
